Sunny Lane was born in Gerogia and raised in Florida. In her youth she was a competitive roller skater, she spent her childhood on the national circuit rising to the level of regional champion. After that she went on to be a professional ice skater; she suffered career-ending injuries in a road accident at aged 16. She went on to compete at pro-am level and coach ice skaters whilst running her own Pilates and yoga studio. Eventually her health issues caused her to step down as a pro athlete and coach.
